A new 13,000 sf building will replace the existing outdated facility for Fire District 3. The new facility will now house the Monroe EMS as well as the Fire Services Unit. The building consists of four truck bays that discharge onto Schoolhouse Road as well as office, living and working quarters for the Fire and EMS staff. The building will be constructed of a steel fame with standing seam metal roof, upscale modern stone and brick veneer at the front façade and metal wall panels at the sides and rear.
